Polyurethane acrylic ecological antimicrobial water-based varnish suitable for interior and exterior wood, metal, plaster, glass, PVC, aluminum, galvanized, etc. It is certified according to the criteria of the EU Ecolabel Awarding Council, according to the EN 71-3 standard for the non-migration of heavy metals from children's toys and objects and by Industrial Microbiological Services Ltd for its antimicrobial-antibacterial action according to the ISO 22196 standard. It is easy to apply, spreads evenly, without leaving streaks and seams. It has excellent whiteness, great coverage, excellent resistance to frequent washing and excellent adhesion even on surfaces painted with alkyd paint (oil paint). It has a low odor during its application because it does not contain ammonia or other dangerous substances, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, free formaldehyde, heavy metals or alkylphenol ethoxylate compounds.

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS
Due to its special composition, Aquavit PU Eco prevents the growth of microbes on the paint film, making it ideal for areas that require aseptic - hygienic conditions such as children's rooms, hospitals, maternity wards, surgeries, medical offices, schools, kindergartens, gyms, warehouses food, hotels, etc.
SHADES
Available in white and an unlimited number of shades through the Vitex Coloring system in a gloss/satin/matte finish.
PROCESSING
The surfaces must be clean and dry, free of oil or rust and polished.
The wooden surfaces, after the appropriate pre-treatment (passing with Diaxyl Water wood preservative, puttying, spatulating with Acrylic Putty and sanding), are primed with Velatura Eco. Then, the surface is sanded with suitable sandpaper and the dust is removed.
New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, plasterboard, etc., as well as troweled surfaces are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.
Surfaces stained by nicotine, tobacco, markers, coffee and other types of stains are primed with Blanco Eco.
The metal surfaces are primed with an anti-rust primer (Anti-Rust Primer, Mini New Type or Metal Primer).
Shiny metal surfaces (galvanized, aluminum, etc.) are primed with Velatura Eco.
APPLICATION
The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in two layers by roller or brush diluted 5-10% with water or airless gun diluted 10-15% with water. It should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C, above 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%.
The product is dry to the touch in 1-2 hours and repaintable after 6-8 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature)
After applying the paint, seal the container tightly and store at temperatures between 5oC and 38oC for future use. Surfaces painted with Aquavit PU Eco are washed using a soft sponge with water and, in the case of stubborn stains, with a mild, colorless detergent, after at least three weeks of painting.
Tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and if necessary with soap or detergent. Do not empty washing liquids into the water table. Special handling of paint residues is required, they must not be disposed of with household waste or spilled. Ask for advice from the local government on their disposal and collection.
